Public School Dimas Mozart e Silva

A state-run school, Public School Dimas Mozart e Silva was built in 1984 on the outskirts of the city of Taquarituba in a low-income community.

Many of the children's families work in sectors related to ceramics, power, agriculture and commerce. The school offers primary and secondary education, with 426 students enrolled. There is a student group and there are activities on weekends for a community called the Family School Program.
The school's philosophy is based on the pedagogic practice of teaching conscious subjects that address the students' role in society, inspired by the principles of solidarity, respect for diversity, ecology, public patrimony and conscious consumption.
