The government of Abu Dhabi, through the Mubadala Development Company, has established the Zayed Future Energy Prize with an annual prize fund to honour individuals, companies, NGOs and organisations for their excellence in the innovation, development and implementation of sustainable energy solutions.

The winner shall receive US$1.5million, and the Zayed Future Energy Prize reserves the right to award other finalists.
